Children Art Classes
One of the most important aims here at ART+ is to develop technical and creative knowledge through a journey of exploration and experimentation. We encourage children to explore different techniques, materials and styles until they develop confident approach in their artwork. Trough our inter-disciplinary learning process we focus on developing each student talent until they reach their full potential. Throughout the creative process our students learn to develop curiosity and experiment despite of the final outcome which at times may also seem like a failure. They learn how to embrace their mistakes and turn them into positive learning experience, which reflects everyday life situations. With this process they develop their self confidence and recognize that there are no mistakes in art as well as in life, but only positive learning experiences and opportunities for further development.
With our regular weekly art classes we will make sure that your child gets equipped with all necessary skills needed to succeed in the ever evolving art scene. Our lessons are designed to adapt to the learning needs of each child, making the learning process an enjoyable and fun experience. In order to achieve that each of our students gets an adequate attention and appropriate guidance, we proudly keep a ratio of 1 Art Instructor to 6 Young Artists.

Young Explorer (ages 4-6)
In this phase the program for the children art classes is designed to nurture creativity and love of art trough exploration of different mediums and materials. At our children art school at Punggol, students will learn and explore all basic fine arts rules while being exposed to sketching, painting, craft and clay creative 3D art. This approach will improve their concentration, refine motor skills and channel energy in a positive direction of self expression and confidence.
Junior Artist (ages 7-10)
At this stage the program is designed for more in-depth studies of various concepts, forms of art, techniques and Master artists works. Students will acquire full foundation skills across all mediums by developing independent thinking and unique style of expression. Trough various project tasks they will learn how to conceptualize and complete a certain project from initial to final stage. All our programs are personalized to the ability of the child.
Advanced Artist (ages 11-14)
At this level the students will be challenged to develop their personal style trough the use of more complex techniques which will require higher levels of project development. They will be challenged and encouraged to take full ownership of their personal expression. The program will continue to introduce them with various Master Artist’s works and forms of art expressions. They will have opportunity to observe and explore creative artworks from the history of art and at the same time adopt more advanced techniques in numerous mediums.
Fashion Illustrator (ages 11-14)
This course is particularly designed for students who are interested in Fashion Design. They will be introduced to the basic principles of fashion illustration and texture rendering with different media. Students will be also challenged to explore various illustration styles and develop their own personal style. The aim of this course is to provide students with a foundation in fashion illustration and prepare them for their future studies at fashion design colleges.
